Do I need to book a pitch prior to arrival?
Yes, it is advisable to book a pitch during June, July, August, early September and May half-term and throughout the whole season for a fully serviced pitch. For other times there are usually vacancies
Can I book a specific pitch or area?
Any requests for certain pitch numbers will be met if possible, but will not be guaranteed. If you prefer a certain location on the Park we will do our best to meet your request
How do I book a pitch?
There are several ways to make a booking, the best way being through our secure booking form with a debit/credit card. Alternatively give us a ring on 01872 580504 or request a brochure and return the enclosed booking form with payment details
How much is the deposit?
The deposit is £50 per pitch per holiday, or payment in full if less. By paying the deposit you are making a contract with the Park and agree to our terms & conditions. In the event of cancellation the deposit is non-refundable, please see our terms & conditions. It is advisable to arrange your own holiday insurance
What if I need to amend my booking?
We will do our best to accommodate any amendments you may need to make. On arrival, any alterations to your confirmed booking may not be accepted if it is unsuitable for your allocated pitch. Alterations include extra persons, change in unit size or additional extras. Once your booking has been confirmed any amendments to your dates will incur a £5 administration fee
What is the latest arrival time?
The latest time that we accept arrivals is 7pm. Unless we are notified of your late arrival your pitch will be re-let from 9am the following day
What time will our pitch be ready?
Pitches are normally ready from 1pm. Our approach road from the A3078 (approx 500 yards) is a single-track lane with passing places. We strongly advise new arrivals who are towing to arrive after 1pm to give those vacating time to clear the lane. Please note we do not have an early arrival area
What time do we have to vacate our pitch?
Pitches must be vacated by 11am
What time of night is “all quiet”?
We ask for all quiet between 10.30pm and 8am. Your neighbours should not be able to hear you or your Radio/TV’s at any time. Generators are not permitted
Can we use barbeques?
Most definitely, we just ask they are raised off the ground to avoid burning the grass. We provide thermal blocks if you need them. Open fires and the burning of wood is strictly prohibited
Do you have electric hook-ups?
All our pitches have a 16 amp electric power supply
Do you have TV points?
Yes, these are available on all our pitches, digital signal only
Can we connect to the Internet?
FREE WiFi Broadband internet access is available throughout the Park
Do you have mobile phone coverage?
The EE (Orange) network has good coverage but other networks are very patchy
Do you have hard-standing pitches?
Our all-weather pitches are covered with a 14mm chipping. They are also suitable for tents but we do recommend that you lay a thicker groundsheet/matting underneath. See pitch types
Do you have fully serviced pitches?
Our fully serviced pitches have a gravel base with 16 amp electric, TV, water & drainage point. See pitch types
Do you accept dogs?
Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome at a cost of £1 a night. They must be tethered and on a short lead at all times on the Park and on your pitch and can only be exercised in the allocated dog walk. Any accidents must be cleaned up quickly and dogs are not to be left unattended at any time. They are not permitted in any of the Park buildings (with exception of assistance dogs)
Do you allow bicycles, skateboards, roller blades or micro scooters?
In the interest of safety the use of bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, scooters or micro scooters are not permitted anywhere on the Park. Bicycles may still be brought onto the Park to be used elsewhere
Can we play football, ball games, Frisbees, fly kites etc?
Activities like these are not permitted on the touring fields. Please use the recreation field that is provided, complete with goal posts, volleyball and basketball nets. There is also a separate children’s play area that closes at 9.30pm or dusk
Can we use a groundsheet?
A breathable groundsheet should be used where possible
Do you take group bookings?
We’re sorry we do not accept group bookings or single sex groups
Can we use a gazebo?
Sorry, we do not accept gazebos, day tents or shelters
Can we bring a separate tent for the children?
Additional small pup tents are only accepted on certain pitches, subject to your unit size, and must be stated at time of booking
Do you accept any size of tent?
We do have a limit on the size of tent accepted but this does vary as each pitch varies in size. We do need accurate dimensions of your complete unit (including canopies or porches) at the time of booking or making an enquiry
Do you have a shop?
Our small licensed shop sells essential groceries and camping accessories. We have fresh milk daily with newspapers and fresh bread available to order
