Are you an Adults Only Park?
Yes we are, we cater for persons aged 18 years and over only. This also applies to any day visitors, persons under the age of 18 are not permitted on the Park
Do I need to book a pitch prior to arrival?
Yes, it is advisable to make a booking at most times throughout the season, especially for a fully serviced pitch
Can I book a specific pitch or area?
We will try to meet any specific requests for pitch numbers or location but we are not able to guarantee it
How do I book a pitch?
The easiest way to make a booking is through our secure booking form with a debit/credit card for the deposit payment. Alternatively request a brochure and return the enclosed booking form with payment details. Please note we no longer accept cheque payments. Sorry we do not accept bookings on the telephone
How much is the deposit?
The deposit is £50 per pitch per holiday, or payment of the Park Fee in full if less than this amount, or full payment of the Park Fee if less than 28 days before your arrival. By paying the deposit you are making a contract with the Park and agree to our Terms & Conditions. In the event of cancellation the deposit is non-refundable, please see our terms & conditions. When do I need to pay the balance for my Park Fee?
Full payment of the Park Fee is due at least 28 days before your confirmed arrival date. We will send a reminder if payment has not been received 28 days prior to your stay. Please check your booking details carefully and inform us if anything is incorrect
How do I pay the balance for my Park Fee?
The easiest way to pay your balance is by debit/credit card through our website on the “Balance Payment” page which can be found under the “Contact Us” heading. Alternatively you can pay by BACS, details of which will be on your e-mail invoice
What if I need to change my dates?
Any changes to your confirmed booking dates made prior to paying the Park Fee will incur a £5 administration fee. Once the Park Fee has been paid if you shorten your dates we will not be able to offer a refund. If you extend your dates the balance difference will be due in full
What if I need to amend my booking?
We will do our best to accommodate any amendments you may need to make. Any alteration to your confirmed booking, either before or on arrival, may not be accepted. This includes extra persons, tents, cars or change in unit size
What time can we arrive?
New arrivals are accepted strictly between 1pm and 7pm due to our narrow access lane. Please note we do not have a waiting area for early or late arrivals. Unless we are notified that you will not be arriving on your confirmed arrival day your pitch will be made available for re-letting from 9am the following morning
What time will our pitch be ready?
Pitches are normally ready from 1pm. Our approach road from the A3078 (approx 500 yards) is a single-track lane with passing places. New arrivals who are towing should not arrive before 1pm to give those vacating time to clear the lane. Please note we do not have a waiting area for early arrivals
What time do we have to vacate our pitch?
Pitches must be vacated by 11am
What time of night is “all quiet”?
“All quiet” on the Park is between 10.30pm and 8am. To maintain our peaceful atmosphere TV’s, music and all noise must be kept at a low level at all times. Generators are not permitted
Can we use barbeques?
Most definitely, as long as they are raised off the ground to avoid burning the grass, we have blocks available if you need them. Open fires and the burning of wood is strictly prohibited
Do you have electric hook-ups?
Yes, all our pitches have a 16-amp electric power supply
Do you have TV points?
Yes, all our pitches have a TV connection, digital signal only. You will need a standard co-ax fly lead to connect into our system
Do you have picnic tables?
Yes, all our pitches have a wooden picnic table
Can we connect to the Internet?
FREE WiFi Broadband internet access is available throughout the Park
Is the Wifi secure?
It depends what you mean by “secure” as our WiFi is open and not encrypted. We don’t have a choice because if we were to secure it with a passphrase it would no longer be public. Rest assured there are plenty of measures in place to make it as secure as possible, including enabled client isolation which means that devices on the WiFi should not be able to see each other
Do you have mobile phone coverage?
There is good coverage for EE but other networks are patchy
Do you have fully serviced pitches?
Yes, our fully serviced pitches have a gravel base of 14mm chipping on which to pitch your caravan or motorhome and awning. They have 16-amp electric, TV point, water & drainage point and picnic table. See pitch types
Do you have hard-standing pitches?
Yes, our all-weather pitches have a gravel base of 14mm chipping on which to pitch your caravan or motorhome and awning. They have 16-amp electric, TV point and picnic table. They are also suitable for tents but we recommend using a thicker groundsheet underneath. See pitch types
Do you have grass pitches?
Yes, our grass pitches have 16-amp electric, TV point and picnic table. They are on a slope to allow for good drainage and are not suitable for some units. See pitch types
Do you have a motorhome service point?
Yes, we have a dedicated motorhome service point where you can fill up with fresh drinking water and empty grey waste water
Do you accept dogs?
Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome at a charge of £1 a night. They must be tethered and on a short lead at all times on the Park, and on your pitch, and are only be exercised in the designated dog walk. Owners are responsible for clearing up any mess made anywhere on the Park. Dogs must not be left unattended on the Park at any time, and are not permitted in any of the Park buildings (except for assistance dogs)
Do you have a dog walk?
Yes, we have a separate three acre field where dogs can be walked and exercised off lead
Can we use a groundsheet?
Where possible a breathable ground sheet should be used to preserve the grass. The use of a thicker groundsheet is recommended on our fully serviced and all-weather pitches
Do you take group bookings?
We do not accept group bookings or individual bookings that would constitute a group gathering on the Park. We accept up to 2 people on a pitch. Based on the Management’s discretion, we may allow an additional 1 or 2 people per pitch, as long as our tranquil ethos is maintained
Can we use a gazebo?
Sorry, we do not accept gazebos, day tents or shelters
Do you accept any size of tent?
We do have a limit on the size of tent we accept but this is different for each pitch as they vary in size. We require accurate dimensions of your complete unit, including any canopy or porch, at the time of booking or making an enquiry
Do you have a shop?
Our small licensed shop sells essential groceries, camping accessories and Calor gas.
Do you have individual shower rooms?
Yes, we have three individual, unisex rooms with shower, toilet, sink, underfloor heating and heated mirrors
Do you have a laundrette?
Yes, we have a coin operated laundrette with two washing machines, two tumble dryers, a sink for hand-washing and ironing facilities. A standard wash is £5 which includes auto-dosing with detergent and conditioner
Do you have disabled facilities?
We have a separate shower room available which operates on a key basis with a deposit required
Do you offer caravan storage?
We offer full or part-time storage for caravans that are used on the Park only. Please contact us for more details
Do you have information on the local area?
We have an extensive information area with local walks, beaches, places to eat, tide and bus times as well as lots of attractions to visit
Can I charge my electric vehicle?
Yes, we have designated EV charging points available on the Park. They are rated at 7.2kw and can be accessed and paid via the Monta app on your smart phone. Charging an electric or hybrid vehicle on your pitch is strictly prohibited
Do any mobile food vans visit the site?
We have a wood-fired pizza van that visits once a week
Do you allow supermarket deliveries?
Yes, deliveries are permitted between the hours of 9am and 7pm only. Please request that the driver calls in at reception on arrival
Do you have a bar or restaurant?
Sorry, no we don’t. If you enjoy a busier holiday park setting we may not be suitable for you
