Q. Do I need to
book a pitch prior to arrival?
Yes, it
is advisable to book a pitch during July, August, and May half-term week
or any time during the season if you require an all-weather or Premium
pitch. For
other times there is usually plenty of space.
Q. Can I book a
specific pitch or area?
Any requests for
certain pitch numbers will be met if possible, but will not be
guaranteed. If you prefer a certain location on the Park we will do our
best to meet your request.
Q. How do I book a pitch?
There are several ways to do a booking. Give us a ring on 01872
580504 with your credit/debit card details, book online through our
secure server
or request a brochure and return enclosed booking form with payment
details.
Q. How much is the
deposit?
The deposit is £40.00 per pitch per holiday, or payment in full if less. In the event of
cancellation this is non-refundable, please see
Park and Booking
conditions. It is advisable to make your own holiday insurance
arrangements.
Q. What if I need
to amend my booking?
We will do our best to accommodate any amendments you may need to make.
On arrival, any alterations to your confirmed booking may not be accepted if it is
unsuitable for your allocated pitch.
Once your booking has been confirmed any amendments to your dates will
incur a £2 administration fee.
Q. What is the
latest arrival time?
The latest time that we accept arrivals is 8.00pm or 9.00pm in Peak
season.
Q. What time will our pitch be ready?
Pitches are normally ready from 1.00pm. Out of high season pitches are
often ready earlier.
Q. What time
do we have to vacate our pitch?
Pitches must be vacated by 11.00am.
Q. What
time of night is “all quiet”?
We ask for no undue noise after 10.30pm. Radios and TV’s must be kept on
a low volume at all times. Generators are not permitted.
Q. Can we
use barbeques?
Most definitely, we just ask they are raised off the ground, we provide
thermal blocks if you need them. Open fires and the burning of wood is
strictly prohibited.
Q. Do you
have electric hook-ups?
All our pitches
have a 16 amp electric power supply.
Q. Do you have
T.V points?
Yes, this is available on some of our Standard and all of our Premium
pitches.
Q. Can we connect
to the Internet?
WiFi
Broadband internet access is available throughout the Park. Payment for
this is either on-line or through vouchers that can be purchased at
reception.
Q. Do you have
hard-standing pitches?
Our all-weather pitches are covered with either beach shingle or 14mm
gravel. They are suitable for tents but we do recommend that you lay a
thicker groundsheet/matting underneath.
Q. Do you have
Premium pitches?
We have 15 of these, they have an all-weather surface, water/waste/T.V
point and 16 amp electric.
Q. Do you accept dogs?
Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome at a cost of £1.00 a night. They
must be tethered and on a short lead at all times on the Park and can only be
exercised in the allocated dog walk. Any accidents must be cleaned up
quickly and dogs are not to be left unattended at any time.
Q. Do you allow
bicycles, skateboards, roller blades or micro scooters?
In the interest of safety the use of skateboards, roller blades or micro
scooters are not permitted anywhere on the Park. Bicycles are allowed
but the Park speed limit of 5mph (walking speed) must be observed at all
times.
Q. Can we play
football, ball games, Frisbees, fly kites etc?
Activities like these are not permitted on the touring fields. Please
use the recreation field that is provided, complete with goal posts,
volleyball and basketball nets. There is also a separate children’s play
area that closes at 9.30pm.
Q. Can we use a
groundsheet?
Wherever possible we ask that a breathable groundsheet be used.
Q. Do you take
group bookings?
We
accept up to 3 pitches in a group booking but cannot guarantee
they will be pitched together. We do not accept single sex groups. |
